Howard J. Harris joined Eagle:XM in 1974 as Vice President of Marketing and Design. In 1984, he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer, and in this capacity has overseen the creation of new integrated e-commerce solutions for database design and management, segmentation/analysis, printing and high-speed laser production, mailing and fulfillment. In his current position as President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Harris plans, operates and controls the business in line with corporate strategy, establishing overall objectives, plans and policies. Mr. Harris is also a member of the board of directors.

Before joining the company, Mr. Harris was responsible for marketing and design at ABT Associates; a government supported think tank in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before joining ABT, Mr. Harris worked for JFN Associates, a New York-based design firm, where he was responsible for creating computer-assisted systems to be used for space planning and interior design.

Mr. Harris was also named the 1997 SBA Small Business Person of the Year.

Mr. Harris holds the following degrees: Master of Industrial Design, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York; Bachelor of Fine Arts - Industrial Design, Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri; Certified Marketing Executive, National Association of Printers and Lithographers, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah; Certified Graphic Arts Financial Management Executive, National Association of Printers and Lithographers, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
